What MM2 values are

Murder Mystery 2 has no price tags on weapons. Players invented their own: a value is how many units an item is worth in a trade. Two knives with the same value make a fair swap, and a godly worth more than your whole offer is a loss.

Nobody at the game studio sets these numbers. Values come from players and follow demand, rarity and what people actually accept in trades. That is why they move, and why one list is never the whole truth. Ours combines several independent lists into one number per item, and the methodology page explains how.

How to read the board

Every row shows the item, its rarity colour and its value. The colours are the same ones you see in game: grey common, blue uncommon, green rare, red legendary, pink godly (chromas live here too), purple ancient, orange unique, yellow vintage.

Open an item to see demand, stability and the history of its value. The headline number is only half the story. A weapon with a high value and weak demand can sit in your inventory for weeks.

Value, demand and dumping

Value is what an item is worth on paper. Demand is how many people want it right now. Stability is how steady the value has been.

Dumping is what happens when a lot of owners sell at once and the value slides. New event weapons do it every season: Alienbeam and Raygun were the 2025 Halloween headliners, and fresh godlies tend to lose value in their first days while everyone cashes in. I would not buy a new godly on day one unless I plan to keep it for a long time.

Value is not Robux

A value is a trading unit, not a price. The Mortal bundle cost 3,399 Robux in October 2026, while Mortal sits at 158 on the board. Paying Robux for a bundle and expecting the trade value to follow is the most common way kids lose money in this game.

How often it updates

Every day. If an item jumps or drops, it shows up in the value changes feed with the size of the move. Event items are the ones to watch during Halloween 2026.

Where to go next

Questions players ask

What is the most expensive item in MM2?

By the board it is Nik's Scythe at 250M, but it is handed out by the developer and almost never changes hands. Among items you can actually trade, Chroma Traveler's Gun (140,000) leads. The ranking page explains the difference.

How do I check if a trade is fair?

Add both sides to the trade calculator. It adds up the values and tells you win, fair or lose. Also compare demand: a fair trade on paper can still be a bad one if you get an item nobody wants.

Why is value not the same as Robux?

Because it measures what players will give for an item in a trade, not what the game charges. A bundle can cost thousands of Robux and still be worth a fraction of that on the board.

How often are MM2 values updated?

Every day. The value changes page lists what rose and what fell.
